Bob Kramer, Academic Advisor

Bob Kramer oversees the academic side of Pro Action and the content development of its training activities. Bob teaches leadership, action learning and organisation development at American University (AU) in Washington, DC and has consulted on action learning to many U.S. Government agencies in Washington, DC, the European Commission, various academic institutions and private companies. Before joining AU, Bob served in the U.S. government for twenty-five years, including a stint on Vice-President Gore's task force to reinvent the government. Bob has received a number of teaching awards and has spoken on numerous occasions in high-profile organisations such as the American Society for Public Administration and the Council for Excellence in Government. Bob has also published widely in scholarly journals across the world and is involved at editorial level in several well-respected publications in the US and Europe.

Max Larsen, Business Advisor

Max Larsen oversees the business side of Pro Action’s ongoing development and assists in managing stakeholder relationships. Until December 2006, Max assumed the role of Managing Partner and Director of Gallup’s Government Division in Washington where he advised US federal agencies on how to improve performance and develop leadership and where he had the overall responsibility for complex, large-scale consulting and research projects. Max also has extensive experience in academics and teaching as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and as mathematics professor at the same university. He has written numerous scholarly articles in mathematics and higher education.
