Robert Manchin

Robert Manchin became involved in Pro Action as soon as he learned about it. He takes a particular interest in the development of leadership capability for public action.
Robert is the Founder and Managing Director of The Gallup Organisation Europe where he is leading the European Commission Flash Eurobarometer, Europe's largest on-going survey measurement project, serving the information needs of European public policy-makers.
Robert is also a professor at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Robert has acted as a consultant for a number of large international organisations, including the United Nations, the World Bank and the European Union. He has been the author and co-author of several social science books and publications and has been invited as a speaker in various conferences and workshops. As a professional musician, Robert has been a member of the Hungarian State Philharmonic Orchestra.
Rainer v. Leoprechting, Founder and First President

Rainer von Leoprechting is the EU Commission's practice leader in consulting and organisational development. He works as coach and consultant with public managers, facilitates events in strategic orientation and alignment and educates consulting as decision process facilitation. In his practices he combines systemic strategy development with constellation work and developmental process consulting.
In all what he does he engages in a general shift for organisations to embrace human potential as part of their normal management. By this he has developed innovations in human resources management, leadership development and public management.
He has co-founded Pro Action Europe as an association of people taking responsibility for the larger whole and engaging in self-organisation in the pursuit of public purposes.
He lead the association from the start as president from 2002 until August 2008.
